My new favourite movie!

We might think by reading this title that I'm a big movie lover?  Perhaps a cinephile?  Not at all.  Actually, I rarely watch movies, unless they are sci-fi, foreign (often with subtitles to understand), or  documentaries. Until today, the movie Twelve Monkeys had been my favourite.   Yes, I was due for a new one! We just came back from watching Populaire.  (I first read about it in my subscription  of Biba France.  Then again on Radio-Canada this week.)     Source  I absolutely love(d) this movie.  Total eye candy with decor and fashion from the 50s!  LOVE.  The story is sweet and funny, perhaps a bit predictable, but don't we need that good happy ending anymore?  I do.   It's the cutest love story ever.  Not to mention that the story gradually builds up and we see a romantic scene in Paris, and then it ends in New York City!!   I was truly not expecting this when we decided to make the trip out to the movies tonight (thanks to my husband who decided that it was time I went out after spending too much time at home and at school, hee hee.)
