Liebster award

Good morning readers!  I received a Liebster award from my friend Adrienne over at http://blog.adriennerose.me/.  After having done it a few times, I'm running out of random things to say about myself so I'm using my already posted "11 things about myself".

 

Adrienne's questions were really fun though so I couldn't resist doing those!  I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed answering them.    

 

THE RULES

11 RANDOMS ABOUT ME:

1. I prefer red wine over white.
2. When I was 20 years old, I got pregnant.  I raised my son by myself and he is now 14.
3. I recently quit my permanent full-time well-paying job (for the last 8 years) to go back to uni for a 2nd degree. I want to be a translator.  I would love to have my own business and work from home, or even travel for my work in the future. (ok that was kind of long for a random fact...)
4. My first language is French.
5. I went to see New Kids on the Block in Montreal when I was 12.
6. I cannot stand the cold weather but live in one of the coldest cities in Canada.
7. My favorite color is green.
8.  I've been involved in dog rescue for almost 2 years now.
9.  I met my husband at work (the job I just left.)
10.  When I was 18, I decided to shave my head completely just to live the experience.
11. My son thinks I'm cool because of that (#10) 

11 QUESTIONS FROM ADRIENNE:

1. How old do you feel? How old do you wish you were?  Sometimes I feel like I'm very, very old...  and had many lifetimes.  
2. Have you taken down your Christmas tree and decorations yet?  No not yet!
3. How do spend your time online?  Facebook, Blogging, Pinterest.
4. Do you get bored? I have to admit that I never get bored.  Even sitting on my couch with nothing to do is pleasant to me.
5. Have you tried Geocaching? Look it up, if you haven't heard of it... Do you think it's something you'd like to try?  Oh cool!  Yea I've heard of this before.  It's definitely something I would like to try.
6. What's your favorite home decor item that you own? I have so many.... but I have to say it's the giant print of New York city on my wall (my maid of honour got it for me as a bridal shower gift because she knows how much I love New York.)
7. What's the one movie you can watch over and over and over again? Without hesitation: Eat, Pray, Love
8. Google to find out which actor or actress shares your astrological sign (Capricorn, Aeries, Leo, Cancer... etc.) which actor/actress is your favorite on that list? Do you think you'd get along with this person in real life?  I'm Leo.  So is Sandra Bullock.  And yes, I definitely think we'd get along in real life.  She's an amazing person, and I have deep admiration for how she dealt publicly with her cheating ex-husband.  She's a classy lady.
9. What's your favorite (not fast food) restaurant? What do you order? Do you order the same thing every time?  I love food.  My favourite is Thai.  And I almost always have tofu red curry.  It's just SO GOOD!
10. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? Is this enough for you? What can you change to make it better for you?  I get between 8 and 12 hours of sleep per day.  Yes it's a lot, and I feel very blessed/privileged to be able to get that many.  My body loves it.
11. What's your favorite non-domesticated animal? Why? Think deeply on this one! I am curious! -- Also, do you think you have a spirit animal? If so, what one, and why?  Dolphins are my favourite non-domesticated animals. They are deeply spiritual and peaceful beings.  Perhaps this is my spirit animal? :)
